Historical memory. The air-raid shelter is 84 metres long and is very well conserved as it was closed and overlooked when the Spanish Civil War ended.
Renovation work on the Torre de la Sagrera mansion led to the discovery of an old Civil War air-raid shelter long forgotten about after it had been closed.
The shelter retains its original structure (benches and latrines), its ventilation shafts and its original electrical installation.
Now the Federació Torre de la Sagrera is offering guided tours of the shelter throughout the year for groups and the general public, with advance bookings.
Tours last an hour and the maximum capacity is five people per visit.
