A mobile giantess, a body in motion, takes centre stage in this family show, an emotive visual experience to be shared and reflected on together, inviting us to reconnect with the planet that sustains us. This is a poetic and visual journey through balance, fragility and the power of reconnection with the world. Lua invites us to observe the subtle movement between bodies, souls and forces in constant transformation.
The languages of acrobatics, physical expression and gentle humour come together to explore the need to find a new balance with the planet, and with ourselves. Premièring as part of La Mercè, this performance is a visual ode to degrowth, cooperation and the beauty of simplicity. It is the latest work by a playwright and artist, the 2023 National Prize winner, who breaks the boundaries of traditional circus to move, provoke and transform.
