47th Cursa de la Mercè Bimbo Global Race

Fun Run. The run has a new route around the centre of Barcelona.

As part of the programme for the La Mercè festivities, the streets of Barcelona are once again set to fill with runners on 21 September, for the Cursa de la Mercè Bimbo Global Race.

The new circuit brings the fun run to the heart of the city, with the start line in C/ Aragó (corner with Pau Claris) and the finish line in Pl. Catalunya, taking in iconic spaces such as Passeig de Sant Joan, Arc de Triomf, the Pavelló Blau, Av. Paral·lel and Ronda Sant Antoni.

The event maintains its three categories:

  • Classic 10k.
  • Inclusive 2k for people with reduced mobility or intellectual disability.
  • Family run of 1,609 m (one mile), designed for people to enjoy as a group and non-competitive in spirit.

A free child-minding service will also be available for children between the ages of 3 and 11.

All the money raised in this edition will go to the Alzheimer Catalunya Fundació.

Cursa de la Mercè 10K Bimbo Global Race (no inclou el xip)


Per a la cursa presencial és obligatori fer servir el xip: permet descarregar del web de la cursa el diploma i el temps realitzat. Per a un ús correcte, cal lligar-lo als cordons de la sabatilla o en una zona propera


Tipus de xip:

  • D'un sol ús i no reutilitzable: es pot adquirir al preu de 2 euros, IVA inclòs
  • Groc: els propietaris d’aquest tipus de xip han de fer constar el número de registre a la butlleta d’inscripció.
  • Promoció especial Mercè per la compra de xip groc: 6€ iva inclòs només per a nous/ves usuaris/es que no hagin estat enregistrats/des mai o hagin perdut el xip. ( A sumar als 5€ de l’aportació solidaria).
  • Aquesta promoció només és vàlida si t'hi inscrius fins al dia 18 de setembre

As part of the Festes de la Mercè, on September 29th the streets of Barcelona will be prepared to receive, once again, a large crowd of enthusiastic runners. La Cursa de la Mercè Bimbo Global Race will offer different modalities so that everyone can participate according to their abilities and age: the Cursa de la Mercè 10K Bimbo Global Race, the Cursa de la Mercè 2K Inclusiva Bimbo Global Race -aimed at people over 14 years old with intellectual disabilities or reduced mobility who for physical reasons cannot complete a distance of 10 kilometers- and the Cursa Mercè Jove Bimblo Global Race.

Lluís Companys – Ronda Sant Pere – Pl. Catalunya – Ronda Universitat – Pl. Universitat – Ronda Sant Antoni – Sepúlveda – Viladomat – Av. Paral·lel, from Viladomat to Lleida (Besòs-facing side) – Av. Paral·lel – Pl. Espanya– Av. Reina Maria Cristina. Finish: Av. Reina Maria Cristina.
