Popular festivals. This year for the first time, the Festa Major will host a classic vehicle meet up: relics on wheels, all with a story to tell, exhibited on Passeig de Reina Elisenda in a morning bursting with music and a great atmosphere.
The streets and squares of this neighbourhood will come to life to celebrate another year of the Roser Festival in Sarrià from 3 to 12 October.
The festivities will kick off on Friday, 3 October with the opening ceremony, featuring a parade of representatives from the district's popular culture, culminating in the Plaça del Consell de Vila. There will be the traditional illuminations, the presentation of the Battle for Sarrià in which the neighbourhood will take centre stage; the proclamation of the Festa Major, the ringing of bells and the greeting of the entities.
