You’ll be in heaven with the music of Lia Kali, an artist who began composing with no particular ambition beyond coping with the struggles of daily life but who made her professional debut in 2023 with the aptly named Contra todo pronóstico [Against All Odds], gaining a large following of fans who have embraced her songs on a deeply personal level. Her messages and vibes reach everyone on both sides of the Atlantic. Now she’s set her sights on the heavens, releasing an album that, this time, was, in fact, intentionally created to be shared: Kaelis. It brings together both organic and digital sounds, as well as tradition (there’s even a Sardana!) and contemporary, at times experimental, music. This is boldness. This is talent.
