Art. Kiefer's work enters into dialogue with Gaudí's architecture through shared themes of nature, materials and transformation.
La Pedrera is hosting the first exhibition in Barcelona dedicated to the work of Anselm Kiefer, one of the most influential figures in contemporary art.The exhibition offers a concise yet significant introduction to his conceptual world, through a selection of around forty works from the private collection of Hans Grothe, one of the most important collections dedicated to the artist, complemented by pieces from other private collections.
Through a carefully curated exhibition, the show reveals the symbolic and material complexity of Kiefer's work, highlighting the coherence of an artistic vision expressed through multiple forms and media: painting, sculpture, installation, photography and artists' books.
