'No ho hauria de fer'

Back

Comedy. The journey in the first person, from the point the actor is tasked with giving a funeral speech through to when the day arrives.

Synopsis

Roger is tasked with a funeral speech he clearly doesn’t want to do and will obviously end up doing. How can you sum up everything a person has lived with a link in bio? A deceased person is immediately idealised for have acquired the premium category of corpse. But is that really fair and necessary? Isn’t a funeral a bit like a definitive blind wedding? It’s the final celebration. Sorry, did I hear celebration?

With a humour that reflects on behaviour and the serious motives hidden behind mundane actions, behind disagreeable and ill-considered gestures like sniffing your own armpits in public, we see that it is actually a gesture of social belonging, “I sniff myself to be the best version of myself that I can”, I sniff myself out of love for you all. Thus all social contract is material to see how we are more children of irony than love for those within reach.
