Using acrobatic portés and dance as their language, this company presents a stage narrative exploring memory, forgetfulness, ageing, dementia, and the passage of time, inspired by real anecdotes and testimonies.  Sensitivity and humour are essential elements in this show, which places older people at its heart. Do you remember the story of the woman with Alzheimer’s who disappeared from her home and was found surrounded by bulls and cows? That is the starting point for the circus piece you will see.

The piece is created by the company La Côte Folle, which grew out of the CirCulem project. This project brings together different players from the sector, committed to supporting a street circus piece on its path to full staging. The selection of the piece was made in dialogue between participating organisations, including the Mercè Arts de Carrer festival, the Fira de Circ de la Bisbal, the “La Palanca d’Esparreguera” festival, Fira Trapezi, and La Central del Circ.
