This is a journey through sound that takes you deep into one of Johann Sebastian Bach’s most iconic works, in the refined transcription for string trio by Dimitry Sitkovetsky. The performance brings the audience a selection of excerpts from the Goldberg Variations , arranged in a way that honours the spirit of the original while exploring new textures and colours through violin, viola and cello. 

Trio Goldberg, a group of artists from the Trinitat neighbourhood who have taken part in this year’s community project, offer a performance that is faithful yet full of vitality. Their contemporary approach highlights the beauty, precision and emotional depth of Bach’s music. It’s a performance that invites close, intimate listening, revealing the architecture and unique character of each variation. A concert for audiences of all ages, offering the chance to discover a masterpiece in a new light through the lens of chamber music.
