Synopsis

In this piece about war, Michael de Cock and Junior Mthombeni capture the metropolitan environment in a form of musical theatre that blends urban arts and musical traditions from all continents.

The production reinterprets Dido and Enees by the composer Henry Purcell and examines the importance of taking inspiration from people, movements and events from the recent past.
