The actress Emma Vilarasau, whose voice and face have made us smile from the TV, cinema and stage, will invite you in the opening speech of La Mercè to experience the celebration intensely but with good judgement and civic behaviour.
The opening speech that kicks off the Annual Festival will fill Plaça Sant Jaume with people yet another year. Once Emma Vilarasau has wished us all a good festival, and you can hear that fireworks have been launched from the roof of City Hall, the festival has begun!
