Short films. The first festival internationally exclusively for comedy short films and a pioneer in this genre.
Taking place from 3 to 6 July is the ninth edition of Tashortfest, the Barcelona International Festival of Comedy Short Films, at the La Teixonera Civic Centre.
This year the festival pays homage to Charles Chaplin, with screenings of films like Modern Times and various live podcasts that explore his influence and the relationship between artificial intelligence and cinema.
The programme includes more than 50 short films, screened in various sessions such as Panorama (selection of distinguished shorts), Gamberra (irreverent humour for over-18s), the finalists’ session and the awards gala.
