Theatre. What ought to be a pleasant supper for “his dad and her mum to meet each other” provides the starting point for this comedy.

Synopsis

It’s been years since Marçal saw his father, a hippy living in a camper van in the Australian outback, so when he has to organise a supper to introduce him to his well-to-do fiancé and mother-in-law he decides to contract an actor to pretend to be his father.

Things get complicated when the actor who is supposed to be coming falls ill and the agency end up replacing him at the last moment with Ramon, a voice-over artist with very little work, who gets so involved in the role he complicates everything.

A series of misunderstandings, lies and half-truths lead to muddles and hilarious situations, as Ramon ends up turning the supper and the lives of all the guests upside down.
