Synopsis

The Independent Living Office advises and supports people with functional diversity in their social, work and domestic lives.

One day, Amanda visits the Office to get information, since her mother has suffered an accident and will spend the rest of her days in a wheelchair. She just needs to be told how to request carer’s relief. She doesn't have time to learn what it means to be independent or what ableist aggression is. She needs someone to take care of her mother. She can't, she has a job, a life...

But no matter how much she tries to avoid it, Amanda is about to come face to face with reality.
