Synopsis

Ariel is a young mermaid living with her friends in the depths of the sea. She sees a boat on her birthday, steered by Prince Èric, and falls in love with him.

She then asks her father, the god Poseidon, to give her feet so she can get out of the sea and meet the prince. Poseidon refuses, as he does not want to see her fall victim to human savagery. The witch of the sea takes advantage of this and makes a pact with Ariel; she will give her feet in exchange for her voice.

If the little mermaid manages to steal a passionate kiss from her beloved before midnight, she will get her voice back. If she fails, the witch will keep her soul for ever after.

Will Ariel be able to win Prince Èric's heart before the countdown ends, and without her mermaid voice?
