Theatre. A monologue entirely in verse, full of satire, plays on words and metatheatre.
Synopsis
In this monologue we see how the protagonist’s fascination with the figure of Herostratus gradually turns into an obsession, to the point where he commits a crime of the stature of his infamous idol.
Switching from one character to another, the author-performer laughs at his own megalomania, inviting us to reflect on the imposing narcissism of our times and the intrinsic desire of human beings to leave their mark: whether through artistic expression, a trade, a revolution or a criminal act.
