Folk music. Italy will be the star of the show at this event, part of the 38th 'Tradicionàrius'.international folk festival.
On 3 April, Fabra i Coats will be hosting a night dedicated to Italian music and culture with a concert featuring Suonno d'Ajere, a trio that promise to take the audience on a musical journey through the history of Naples. With vocals accompanied by mandolin and guitar they will take a tour from the 19th century to the present day, combining genres such as jazz, pop and classical music.
Following this, DJ Sangennarobar will be serving up a touch of worldbeat and Italian folk to get everyone grooving on the dance floor, while choreographer Andrea De Siena will be showing them how to dance the traditional tarantella.
To round off the cultural experience, chef and photographer Sergio Grispello will be offering a taste of Naples with an exquisite Ragu.
