Folk. The artist returns with his band Saving Grace, accompanied by Suzi Dian.
The Gran Teatre del Liceu is hosting a performance by Robert Plant with Saving Grace, accompanied by the voice of Suzi Dian on Wednesday, 30 July. The legendary Led Zeppelin vocalist arrives with his own project, made up of Oli Jefferson (percussion), Tony Kelsey (mandolin, baritone guitar), Matt Worley (banjo and strings) and Plant himself, offering an intimate live show featuring folk and blues versions.
The song-list ranges from reinterpreted classics to minimalist arrangements combining British folk and psychedelia with contributions from Band of Joy, Moby Grape and Carole King. The opening, with Undone In Sorrow, illustrates this delicate style, rich in musical nuances.
The concert is part of the 26th Banco Mediolanum Festival Mil·lenni.
