Culture. A series of debates with the intention of assessing the changes that our cultural scene has experienced in the last fifty years.

In the autumn, the Reial Acadèmia de Bones Lletres de Barcelona, in collaboration with the Museu d'Història de Barcelona, is organising the debates 1975-2025: fifty years of post-Francoism, a cultural balance’.

Organised into different round tables with recognised specialists, the sessions will address the following themes:

Contemporary Catalan Philosophy. Coordinated by Josep Ramoneda: 17 November from 4.30 pm to 8 pm.

Changes and renewal within Catalan historiography. Coordinated by Borja de Riquer: 26 November and 3 December, from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 7.30 pm.

The place of the Catalan language. Coordinated by Lola Badia: 10 December, from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm and from 3.30 pm to 8 pm.

Spanish culture in democracy. Coordinated by Sergio Vila-Sanjuán:11 December, from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Admission is free of charge, with no booking required.
