Jazz. The Cuban pianist combines with the Liceu band at the 57th International Jazz Festival.

The auditorium of the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu is hosting one of the most eagerly awaited concerts in the 57th Barcelona International Jazz Festival on Tuesday, 2 December : the collaboration between Omar Sosa and the Liceu Big Band.

Regarded as one of the most creative and imaginative pianists on the international scene, Omar Sosa will bring his expertise in exploring genres that combine jazz with the roots of Latin American and African music. On this occasion, his boundless imagination connects with the orchestral language of the powerful Liceu Big Band, conducted by the renowned Sergi Vergés.

The programme centres on es:sensual, one of the works that Sosa previously recorded with the NDR Bigband.
