39th Big 'Barcelona Cara al Mar’ Habaneras [Sea Shanty] Get-Together

Havaneres. The Port Vell hosts the most important seafaring song event in Barcelona.

Barcelona cara al mar, organised by the Barceloneta Festival Commission and presented by Gerard Carrión, a journalist at Ràdio Estel, is celebrating its 39th edition in top form and strengthening ties with the seaside neighbourhood supported by neighborhood organisations and facilities.

The event will begin with a performance by the Coral Mediterrània from the Barceloneta Civic Centre, followed by the Barca de Mitjana group.

In the second act, Els pescadors de l'Escala and Crema Catalana will perform. The event will end with a joint performance by El meu avi and La Bella Lola.

At intermission, there will be a rum cremat tasting for everybody to enjoy.
