13th Nick Horta Solidarity Run

Race. A 5 km run raising money for La Marató de 3Cat.

The 13th edition of the Nick Horta Solidarity Run is being held in the Horta neighbourhood on Sunday 5 October, offering a sports event combining physical activity and solidarity. For this year’s event, all the money raised will go to La Marató de 3CAT for research into cancer, an illness with a huge social impact and many challenges for research.

The event starts at 9 am, when the 5 km run sets off from C/ Tajo (next to the Mercat d’Horta). Runners will have an hour to complete the route, with official timing by Xipgroc. After the run there’s a solidarity walk of 5 km, with a maximum time of 1 hour 15 minutes. At 9.30 am, it’s time for the children's run, a non-competitive solidarity event covering 1.3 km and starting from the corner of C/ Venècia and C/ Carles Collet.
