Synopsis

In 1895, in a remote village in central Catalonia, Europe’s first recording studio was built: The Cibels Studio. Today, The Cibels Studio has not only survived the passing of time, but also the changing trends that come with it, the countless musical genres that happen increasingly faster, the most cutting-edge tech innovation and everyday events. A little soundproof space measuring three by two has witnessed the most unparalleled and striking musical creations; is it true that a fly inspired the melody for Titanic? Is there a lost Michael Jackson hit? And Winston Churchill’s defeat speech? The answers to all these questions and many more are in The Cibels.
