Synopsis

Moscow, 1930s. The devil and his entourage hit the city, causing destruction. Young Margarita loves the Maestro, a writer punished by the regime, while 19 centuries away, the apostle Matthew, Pontius Pilate and Caiaphas argue about the existence and death of Jesus Christ.
