Urban innovation. The congress features a programme of more than 600 speakers and experts who are shaping the future of urban life, including Ruha Benjamin, Majora Carter and Stephanie Hare.

The Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) will be taking place from 5 to 7 November at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via venue under the slogan Live Better and will be focusing on how cities can be transformed to become more liveable places where their citizens can prosper.

The most important international event on smart cities will feature a programme of talks structured around eight key themes: Enabling Technologies, Energy & Environment, Mobility, Governance, Living & Inclusion, Economy, Infrastructure & Building, and Security & Protection.

In addition, the exhibition space will be hosting more than 1,100 exhibitors, among which are companies, cities and institutions from around the world who will be presenting their projects and solutions.
