A gateway to the beaches nearest to the Besòs river, the park links two of the city's large green areas: the parks of Poblenou and Diagonal Mar.
The park is the result of an intelligent combination of topography and vegetation that gives rise to very distinct parallel areas, separated by large flowerbeds, some flat and others sloping. It was built over the large car park located on one side of the Ronda del Litoral, the coastal ring road.
There is a long, wide bicycle lane on the mountain-facing side, bounded by a flowerbed that acts as a sort of party wall between the two areas and the flowerbed separating it from the roadway.
As for the sea-facing side, the boundary acts as a kind of mirador over the nearby beaches. Here you will find leisure areas and children’s play areas. And you can go directly to the beaches via C/ Bac de Roda, C/ Selva de Mar and C/ Josep Pla.
