Performing arts. International Festival of Performing Arts and Mental Health.

From 30 May to 1 June, Barcelona will be hosting the 11th edition of L'Altre Festival, the International Festival of Performing Arts and Mental Health, a unique event that fuses culture and emotional well-being. The festival is being held at the Fabra i Coats Art Factory, in the Sant Andreu neighbourhood.

L'Altre Festival is an international gathering that promotes the creation of performing arts linked to mental health, with the aim of breaking stigmas and promoting inclusion. The programme includes more than 35 shows, covering theatre, dance, music, circus and new formats, with the participation of professional companies, amateurs and mixed collectives.

One of the highlights of this edition is the première of Llums i ombres, a poetic and documentary theatre production directed by Xavier Bobés, jointly created by people with and without mental health disorders.
