Home movies. An exhibition that analyses the reasons why we film ourselves and the evolution of technology, from the film camera to the mobile phone.

For more than a century, home movies have been collecting fragments of everyday life and have become a bank of images with undoubted anthropological, sociological and historical value.

In the exhibition [Rec]ords. La vida a través del cinema domèstic (Memories. Life through Home Movies) unpublished and sometimes counter-hegemonic stories and footage about past and contemporary times and customs are recovered.

Through the exhibition, we delve deeper into the relationships between image, reality and memory, and review our relationship with the camera.
