Synopsis

Tu em vas prometre una història d'amor is a boy-meets-girl story. Or a boy-meets-boy story. Or a girl-meets-girl story. Or the story of two strangers. It’s a story that begins in Rome. And a story that begins in Paris. And a story that begins in Poland, on a train. Well, actually, it’s the story of an author trying to write a love story. What is it with love stories? Why do they fascinate some, even to the point of addiction, and repulse others? What have they taught us about love? Why do stories that once seemed romantic now seem like horror stories? Can a contemporary love story be written, and can one survive the attempt?
