'Rita'

Back

Theatre. A play about family, siblings, the love between mothers and children and, ultimately, the inability to accept death.

Synopsis

Toni and Júlia are siblings. He likes to get straight to the point, while she is incapable of making decisions. When Toni's vet advises him to have his dog Rita put down, his self-assurance begins to crumble. Júlia, on the other hand, is in no doubt about what needs to be done. But when Toni raises the same issue in relation to their mother, the siblings' differing views cause tensions to erupt within the family.
