Synopsis
His own biography is the source of inspiration for Mario Banushi in this piece dedicated to mothers, in plural, as the artist was born in Albania and was looked after by his grandmother when his mother left, on foot, to look for work in neighbouring Greece.
Mami is a new example of the talent and highly visual theatre produced by Mario Banushi, a 26-year old creator who has been hailed internationally as the wunderkind of contemporary Greek theatre.
