One of Guimerà’s great plays still to be discovered, portraying the hopes and disappointments, loves and heartbreaks, loyalties and betrayals of a couple that cannot have a child.
An uncomfortable piece full of tensions in which a grocery store is the setting where the most hidden desires and the social pressures of a closed society coexist.
L’aranya comes to the TNC for the first time with dramaturgy and direction by Jordi Prat i Coll, who approaches this classic from a very personal perspective.
