Mystery. A tale in which mystery and horror go hand in hand, blurring the boundary between reality and superstition.

Synopsis

Two midwives accompany a young pregnant woman to a cabin in the middle of the mountains. The young woman has decided that she wants her child to be born in the heart of nature. The midwives tell her stories about the province's past. The young woman wishes for the benevolent spirits that inhabit the gorge to do good by her future child. However, the past and present of the three women will lead them to experience a series of rather more disturbing events.

Una història de terror.

Dues llevadores acompanyen una jove embarassada fins una cabana al cor de la muntanya. La jove vol que la seva criatura neixi enmig de la natura. Les llevadores li narren històries sobre el passat de la comarca. La jove desitja que els esperits benefactors que habiten el gorg facin bé al seu futur fill. Però el passat i el present de totes tres les portarà a viure uns esdeveniments molt més inquietants.

Jordi Casanovas, Premi Nacional de Cultura 2022, torna a la Sala Beckett amb una història on el misteri i el terror van de la mà per difuminar la línia que separa la realitat de la superstició.
