Catalan rock. Gerard Quintana’s band present their ‘Animal’ tour at the festival Les Nits de Barcelona.

Sopa de Cabra will be performing at the Jardins del Palau de Pedralbes on Tuesday, 22 July.

After a winter bearing their soul, or Ànima, around the country’s main theatres and auditoriums, now the band is set for a unique summer with intense and vibrant new songs, before a 9-month pause ahead of their 40th anniversary in 2026.

The group regain  the most animal spirit from their career, with a song list mainly inspired by the tour from 2001, when they were still all there, before that indefinite pause which at many times seemed about to be definitive. With new energy and the incalculable company of Beth Rodergas, another summer.

Des de la seva formació el 1986, Sopa de Cabra és un referent del rock català. El 2025 presenten Ànima, el seu dissetè àlbum d’estudi, que inclou col·laboracions amb artistes convidats per enriquir el seu característic so.

Amb gairebé quatre dècades de trajectòria, la banda continua sent un emblema d’autenticitat i connexió generacional.
