On Saturday 21 June, the Gran Teatre del Liceu will be hosting New Worlds – Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends, a unique show that fuses music, literature and theatre in an unusual format.

Bill Murray and cellist Jan Vogler come together on stage in a production born of the friendship they struck up on a flight in 2013. The show features a blend of literary recitals (works by Whitman, Twain, Hemingway) and live musical composition (pieces by Bach, Schubert and Bernstein), performed by Vogler, violinist Mira Wang and pianist Vanessa Pérez.
