Pop and jazz. Both artists will perform as part of the Alma Festival.

On Monday 21 July, Poble Espanyol will come alive with music during a special double bill concert featuring two standout voices—the acclaimed and multifaceted Julieta Venegas and rising Catalan jazz talent Rita Payés—as part of the Alma Occident Barcelona Festival.

Julieta Venegas, recipient of multiple Grammy Awards and known for anthems like ‘Limón y sal’ and ‘Me voy’, will present an intimate set blending pop and Latin music, highlighting both her expressive power and social commitment.

Sharing the stage will be Rita Payés, a trombonist and vocalist who emerged from the Sant Andreu Jazz Band. Payés has captivated audiences with her album De Camino al Camino, a warm and poetic journey through jazz, bolero and pop.
