Jazz flamenco. A unique fusion of jazz and flamenco, in a double concert that’s part of the Mas i Mas Festival.

A guitarist well-known for his virtuosity and innovative approach, Juan Medina has been, and still is, an influential figure in the evolution of contemporary flamenco.

At present, he’s cultivating his own style, which straddles flamenco and jazz, a formula he has applied to several of the works he has released with all sorts of groups and collaborators: Alba Molina, Antonio Heredia and the musicians who will be accompanying him in this session, plus Gal Maestro and Poti Trujillo who are also virtuosos in their fields. With them, together with some surprise guests, he’ll be presenting the tracks from his upcoming album.
