Catalonia. Music and dance. Barcelona premiere

A unique sound that encompasses a range of styles in a show of musical cross-breeding that also engages in dialogue with dance. That’s what the musician Aleix Tobias was searching for when he decided to embark on this project with the musicians and dancers Karen Lugo, Momi Maiga, Guillem Aguilar and Carles Dénia. They’re all artists with whom Tobias has shared the stage many times, and they represent the mixture of styles that is at the core of the project,

which encompasses flamenco and jazz beats and traditional music from Europe, Africa and the Americas. They all converse with dance and improvisation to create a universal language which is both traditional and contemporary and manages to connect cultures through popular music.
