Classical music. The OBC performs the work of Gustav Holst featuring Gemma New and Leif Ove Andsnes.

On 30 and 31 May, the Barcelona Symphony and Catalan National Orchestra (OBC) will perform an iconic concert at L'Auditori, under the direction of the proclaimed Gemma New. The programme includes works by Haydn, Franck and the famed orchestral suite The Planets by Gustav Holst.

Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes will be the guest soloist, interpreting the works of Haydn and Franck. What's more, the Cor de Noies de l'Orfeó Català, directed by Montserrat Meneses, will participate in the performance of The Planets, providing the ethereal vocal texture for which the final catharsis is known.
