Cycle “Following the Sun. Uncovering the Gaze”

Sound experiment. The initiative looks to train perception to broaden the understanding of the world, questioning the cultural and institutional boundaries of the gaze.

The Museu Tàpies has launched the third edition of the cycle Following the Sun. Uncovering the Gaze", a programme that starts from the idea of the "game of knowing how to look" formulated by Antoni Tàpies in 1967.

The cycle makes the case for a gaze which is not so conditioned by hierarchies and prejudice, able of recognising the symbolic potential of everyday life. In this respect, the museum is conceived as a porous space, open to new ways of inhabiting it and experiencing it.
