'What is the future for AI ethics? European perspectives on emerging challenges’

Human challenges. This cycle tackles the main future challenges of AI and proposes ethical criteria and guidance for the policies and practices that must shape its development.

Artificial intelligence is quickly transforming society and creating a series of challenges, opportunities and controversies.

Many of these questions, from the biases of inequality to precision, as well as security and protection, are now being carefully studied and widely discussed. Even so, many questions are still emerging or speculative, and the challenges generated are not understood, appreciated or regulated properly.

In this series of debates by the Palau Macaya, outstanding European academics look to the future to predict the challenges that are coming and articulate principles for the policy and practice of AI.
