The community of Poor Clare nuns has a wide range of Christmas traditions, although the most ingrained custom is the creation of the Nativity scene and houses are decorated with Christmas motifs at this time of the year. Spiralsceramicbcn is organising a workshop to create ceramic ornaments for your Christmas trees at home. The workshop offers an opportunity to make an initial contact with the world of ceramics and learn about materials, techniques and processes for making pieces. During the workshop, the technique of ironing, ornamentation with wrapping and enamel will be used. The pieces made can be collected from the monastery’s reception from the second week of December.
For everybody aged 8 or over.
