18th Science Festival

Scientific dissemination. Games, experiments, workshops, shows, storytelling, guided tours, and exhibitions for all ages.

The Science Festival returns this year for its 18th edition and will take place at El Born. At the Barcelona History Museum and Plaça Comercial over the weekend of 30 and 31 May and 1 June.

The festival is an ideal space for promoting science to the city residents, with activities for all ages during the daytime and events for young people and adults on Saturday evening. There will also be open days at the Martorell Exhibition Centre and the Hivernacle, where various festival activities will take place.

This year's edition features more than 160 science and technology outreach activities across 28 different venues, involving over 120 institutions, organisations, and research groups, with more than 300 participants.

A space dedicated to quantum science is new this year, joining other long-standing favourites such as the maths challenges area, the solar observation space, and the reading corner.
