As part of the cycle From the digital footprint to sustainable artificial intelligence at the Canòdrom, the lecture IA de Km0 is being given on Wednesday, 19 February.

Did you know that not all AI is created by large corporations or relies on extractivist systems? In this session, we’ll be learning about an inspiring project that backs autonomous, sovereign AI managed by communities themselves.

Using open and local models, without data centres or polluting infrastructure, this initiative provides an example of how to reclaim technology with responsibility and social justice.

The activity consists of project presentations and a subsequent debate with a question and answer session.
