Parc de les Glòries inaugural festival

Community festival. There will be music shows, workshops and activities for all the family.

Taking place on Saturday 26 April from 10.30 am to 6.00 pm, is the inaugural festival of Parc de les Glòries, Barcelona’s new green lung.

The festive activities will take place in different areas of the park, and there will be two stages: Under the shade of the Umbracle there will be hot chocolate for everybody and musical performances from the likes of the group Ambauka to get things under way and Todos los Gatos son Pardos as a tribute to Gato Pérez to round off the celebration.

In the same location there will be a swing dance and workshop and a magic show. At the other stage, located at the Àgora Berta Càceres, there will be small-format activities such as storytelling and puppetry.

In the Clariana there will be a games space between 10 am and 2 pm, while La Farinera will also be organising an ‘escape street’ here too.

You’ll also be able to see an exhibition at two points in the park (Passeig de la Diagonal, Rambla Encants), with images portraying the evolution of Glòries over the years.
