Synopsis

Ghosting, benching, sadfishing,... Words that cover up a painful reality: they're ignoring you. And this is how Goethe's character Werther must feel when he tries to conquer Lotte. Goethe opens a channel to what would be the first blogbuster in history. But, in a world with so many stimuli, precariousness and fatalistic anglicisms, what is left of romanticism?

Les penes del jove Werther (The Sorrows of Young Werther) is a show that creates stimuli and contrasts based on the work of Goethe, around the commodification of sadness, emotional fascism, the generation gap and failed relationships. Since when has pain been a source of business?
