Synopsis

As the fog closes in, Bernarda Alba’s maid Poncia prays over Adela’s death. The house has been plunged into a sea of silence. Poncia talks to herself but also to them, to Bernarda Alba and her daughters, in a prohibited place for words.

This text is written from the words of the character of Poncia in the play by Federico García Lorca. In a deep analysis of the character, the author and director has regained Poncia’s words, turning them into a reflection, an inner voice, dialogues with ghosts and shadows. A new perspective is thus illuminated within the house.
