Museum. A chance to enjoy new exhibitions, with guided tours and much more.

The MACBA turns thirty on 28 November. The facility is organising an open day from 28 to 30 November to celebrate the occasion.

We can see Project a black planet. Art and Culture of Panafrica, the first big exhibition on contemporary pan-African art in Barcelona, and the new exhibition Like a dance of starlings. MACBA Collection: Thirty Years and Infinite Ways of Being, which pays homage to three decades of collective work and dialogue between artists, audiences and institutions.  

We can also enjoy the new mural MACBA Trenta Tmeline, created by Clara Nubiola, which presides over the museum’s atrium and offers a drawn synthesis of the MACBA’s thirty-year history: exhibitions, key moments, people and ideas that have shaped the museum.

Guided tours are also available at different times, with bookings.
