'La Llama Fest'

Comedy. Over 25 shows and activities, with stand-up routines, impro, talks, podcasting, workshops and a fanzine fair.

From 10 to 15 March, Barcelona will be hosting the sixth edition of La Llama Fest, a festival dedicated to alternative comedy that brings together more than 120 artists in venues across the Sants district. Most of the activities will be taking place at the Cotxeres de Sants and La Lleialtat Santsenca venues, with some in other venues such as the Espai Texas and various public libraries in the city. 

You’ll have the chance to see exclusive débuts of stand-up routines from the likes of Arnau Garcia and Beñat Iturbe. There will also be performances from well-known companies such as La Calòrica, Vengamonjas and ImproBarcelona. 

Scottish comedian Eleanor Morton, one of the biggest names on the international comedy circuit, will be performing in Barcelona for the first time during the festival. 

As well as shows, the festival will feature a series of talks, podcasts, a fanzine and self-publishing fair, and an exhibition by visual artist Noquedatinte.
