Enfocats 2024: ‘Environmental collapse’

Environment. The Observatori DESCA, RUIDO Photo, Greenpeace and other groups and activists will be taking part in this festival, which looks at the climate crisis.

The 14th Festival Enfocats focuses on an urgent matter that affects us all directly: the environmental crisis.

Through different exhibitions, talks, workshops, screenings and activities, the Pati Llimona community centre us joining the fight to improve the environment along with activists and collectives renowned for their action in this sphere.

The festival gets under way on Thursday, 25 April, with the presentation of exhibitions and activities and a guided tour of the allotments, as well as a presentation of a thermal teepee. The programme runs until 16 May, with the exhibitions open until 15 June.

A la 14a Edició del Festival Enfocats posem el focus en un tema urgent i que ens afecta directament a tots i totes: LA CRISI AMBIENTAL.

El canvi climàtic és una preocupació creixent que té repercussió a tots els racons del planeta. La crisi ambiental és ja un problema urgent, estem a punt del col·lapse, cal fer una gestió justa que requereix una acció col·lectiva de governs, empreses, organitzacions no governamentals i ciutadans i ciutadanes de tot el món. Calen polítiques estatals i mundials que cuidin i protegeixin la vida; aquest és el reclam que hem de fer de manera conjunta i organitzada. Només mitjançant un esforç conjunt i coordinat podrem revertir les injustícies climàtiques actuals, per construir un futur més sostenible per a les pròximes generacions.

Des del Pati Llimona, a través de la denúncia i la visibilització de problemàtiques locals i mundials, volem aportar el nostre granet de sorra en aquest despertar de consciències, per fomentar una futura acció ciutadana. Els desafiaments ambientals són diversos i complexos, i és per això que en aquesta edició volem oferir-vos un espai de reflexió, on repensar juntes noves narratives que comportin un canvi fonamental en la manera de com consumim i com ens relacionem amb la terra i amb tot el que ella produeix. A través de les exposicions i diferents activitats com xerrades, tallers, projeccions i taules rodones, ens sumem a lluita per la millora del medi ambient on participaran també activistes i col·lectius reconeguts per les seves accions reivindicatives.
